Our natural caviar is made of the roe of gorbusha salmon that lives in its natural habitat in the north Pacific and in the Arctic Ocean. Its pale red grains have an extraordinarily smooth flavour and a pleasant salty aroma.
Gorbusha caviar is high in protein and polyunsaturated fatty acids (especially omega-3). It also contains antioxidants (such as vitamins A and E, zinc), as well as other vitamins and minerals, including vitamins B and D, magnesium, iodine, potassium, iron, calcium, and phosphorus.
Caviar tastes best when chilled. It goes well with high quality bread, may also be served with eggs or tiny pancakes. It could be accompanied by a dry white wine or a champagne brut.
